Select Committee on Petroleum Product Pricing, Summer 2004. Howard and several other members of the Legislature (Gerald Sampson, Bill Dooks, Brooke Taylor, and Danny Graham) met to investigate ways to control the cost of gasoline and home heating fuel in Nova Scotia. The committee proposed retail divorcement and regulation as two possible solutions to rapidly rising prices, but also proposed that government promote efficiency and conservation.
